Since 2016, the Kudargarh Mahotsav has been organized annually at Kudargarh Dham—a prominent religious site in the Surajpur district—on the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratri. This grand, three-day festival is celebrated with the aim of promoting local art and culture. The Kudargarh Mahotsav features a diverse array of programs rooted in religious faith, as well as local traditions and beliefs. Furthermore, a fair is organized to boost religious tourism and to provide employment opportunities for the local populace.
